KATHERINE “KATIE” FARMER, 76
Katherine “Katie” Farmer, 76, died November 9, 2003 at Saint Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born July 29, 1927 in Fort Wayne. She was a member of the Association of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ and a member of Saint Therese Catholic Church. She enjoyed cards and knitting. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who placed others before herself. She will be deeply missed by all. Survivors include daughters Carol (Dave) Locker, Fort Wayne, Barbara (Brian) Dombkowski, Warsaw, IN, Wendy (Dan) Flotow, Roanoke, IN, one son Terry (Debbie) Farmer, Fort Wayne. Sisters Lily Reuille, Ellerton, Florida, Patricia Kelker, New Haven, Indiana, Roseanne Roemer, Hudson Florida, Marguerite Nommay, Elkhart, IN, and a brother Thomas Schneiders, Lake Worth, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence (Larry) Farmer, brothers Robert and Raymond Schneiders and her sister Violet LeFavour. They had 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A Wake Rosary was held Wednesday, November 12, at 3:30PM. Services were 10:00AM Thursday, November 13 at Saint Therese Catholic Church, with burial at Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to Saint Joseph Hospital, Saint Therese Catholic Church, or donors choice.
