WAL-MART HOSTS “SPEAKING OF WOMEN’S HEALTH” EVENT
On Friday and Saturday, September 19 and 20, 2003 Wal-Mart at 1710 AppleGlen Blvd. will be hosting a Speaking of Women’s Health Community Event. This event will occur from 10am to 4pm.
Wal-Mart is a proud supporter of Speaking of Women’s Health, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating women to make informed decisions about their health, well-being and personal safety. Speaking of Women’s Health is a national foundation that encourages women to explore their physical and mental vitality, inner strength, self-esteem and beauty.
The public is invited to attend this free event. The community event activities include health screenings and free books from Speaking of Women’s Health. “It is a forum that enables us to reach and empower women worldwide.”
“Speaking of Women’s Health is excited to partner with Wal-Mart stores for such a great event,” Dianne Dunkelman, Speaking of Women’s Health Founder, said. “We believe that it is important to enhance the lives of women through education and pampering. This event will give women an opportunity to be informed of the latest health news and experience a day devoted to learning how to take better care of themselves.”
Just a few of the events will be: Job opportunities – Police and EMS, School & Education – Taylor University, Indiana Wesley University, Pivot Point Beauty School, Screenings For: Diabetes and Sickle Cell, Day Care for Adults and Legal Wills by Marvin Crell-Attorney at Law, plus much much more!
