ROGER K. SOMERS, 64
Roger K. Somers, 64, died Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at his Bluffton, Indiana residence. Born in Fort Wayne, he was President of Somers Bros. Auctioneers, Inc., previous manager Somerdale Mobile Home Park and dispatcher for Erie Lackawanna Railroad. He was a member of Nine Mile United Methodist Church, Ossian Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Shriners and Wheels of Yesteryear. He was a beloved husband, father, son, grandfather, and brother.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis A. Somers, Bluffton; sons Stacy Somers, Indianapolis; Jason L. Somers, Indianapolis; daughter Laura Zobel, Edmond, Oklahoma; grandchildren Ethan Robert Zobel, Edmond, Oklahoma; Benjamin Marshal Zobel, Edmond, Oklahoma; mother Maxine (Collins) Somers, Bluffton; and brother Rex E. Somers, Fort Wayne.
Masonic Lodge Services were scheduled for 7:30pm Friday, August 1, 2003 and burial services were scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2003 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Funeral Home, 120 W. Mill Street, Ossian, Indiana with burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Memorials to the American Heart Association.
