GENEVIEVE (JENNY) WOOD, 79

Genevieve (Jenny) Wood, 79, born in Wells County and formerly of the Waynedale and Ossian areas, died Sunday, July 27, 2003 at Ossian Health Care & Rehabilitation in Ossian, Indiana. Her father was Peter Baumgartner (deceased). She was a homemaker and a member of Ossian Nazarene Church. She was preceded in death by daughter Barbara Sue Wood.

She is survived by her husband Wilbur R. Wood, Ossian (they were married November 24, 1946 in Ossian); son Russell E. Wood, Fort Wayne; brother Paul Baumgartner, Wisconsin; 1 Grandchild, and 3 Great Grandchildren.

Services were held Thursday, July 31, 2003, at Ossian Nazarene Church with burial in Oaklawn cemetery in Ossian. Memorials to Ossian Nazarene Church. Information furnished by Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals.
