BENEFIT HOG ROAST AND AUCTION FOR LOCAL CHILD
Cindy Niman, grandmother of Madisun “Sunny” Madalinski called The Waynedale News last week and requested our help to promote a benefit.
Madisun, who will turn three in September, was recently diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. There will be a benefit for Madisun to offset medical cost on June 28th. The benefit will last from noon until 10:00pm at the South West Conservation Club (SWCC) on Bluffton Road. Tickets are $10 and are available by calling 478-9736 or $15 at the gate. Kelly Automotive Group has donated a good used car to be auctioned. Other local sponsors include Bait & Hook, Stoners, Jenden Signs, Bob’s Graphics, AMVETS #33, Heavens Treasures, Martin & Bailey Auctioneers, Hardy’s Farm Market, SWCC, Vickie O’Neal, Juno’s Joint, Babyland Daycare, Children’s Orchard, Jim Geller, Ace Tent, and Justus Construction. More sponsors were signing up as we were going to press. Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disease affecting approximately 30,000 children and adults in the United States. A defective gene causes the body to produce an abnormally thick, mucus that clogs the lungs.
Sunny’s Benefit on June 28th, in addition to the used car auction, will host live bands, Karaoke and a hog roast. Door prizes also will be awarded.
