CLARA S. STEM, 88
Clara S. Stem, 88, died Monday, February 4, 2003 at her residence. She was employed as Sales Clerk/Custom Made Drapes at Sears for 10 years before retirement. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter Patricia Bowland who passed away in 1988. She was the daughter of Eli Scott Howell and Ollie Howell both deceased.
She is survived by husband Arthur C. Stem Jr., Fort Wayne; daughter Dolores Ditzenberger, Fort Wayne; stepdaughter Berniece Bicker, Deerfield, Illinois; sister Lottie Stice, Bowling Green, Kentucky; 5 grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild, and 4 step Grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, February 7, 2003 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home – Winchester Road Chapel, with Pastor Robert Arenobine officiating. Burial was in Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorials to American Heart Association.
