MARY E. SCARBERRY, 75

Mary E. Scarberry, 75, died Monday, October 14, 2002 at her residence. A native of Branchville, South Carolina, she was a homemaker. Her husband was Alvin Scarberry. She was the daughter of Marion Dennis Ruple and Mary Annie (Thomas). She was a member of Waynedale Baptist Church.

She is survived by sons Michael Cassaday, Fort Wayne; Daniel Cassaday, Clearwater, Florida; brother Marion D. Ruple, Branchville, South Carolina; sisters Verna Wunsch, Midiothian, Virginia; Inez Huff, Bowman, South Carolina; Patsy Hutto, Branchville, South Carolina; and 2 Grandchildren.

Services were held Friday, October 18, 2002 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials to Cancer Services of Allen County or Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice.
