BURTON GAIL “BURT” HETRICK, 77
Burton Gail “Burt” Hetrick, 77, died Friday, October 11, 2002 at Lutheran Hospital. A native of Noble County, Indiana, he was retired from being an owner-operator dump truck driver at Brudi Gravel and then May Stone and Sand. After retiring, he worked for Brooks Construction and then Fox Contractors. He was a member of American Legion Post #241, VFW 10006, Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie #248, and a member of Farm Bureau. He was a WWII Marine Veteran and a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a NASCAR racing fan and enjoyed gardening. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
He is survived by his wife Betty Hetrick, Fort Wayne; son Gale G. Hetrick, Fort Wayne, and 2 Grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday, October 15, 2002 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Northeast Indiana Kidney Center or Allen County Cancer Society.
