JUANITA M. MCKAY, 90

Juanita M. McKay, 90, died Saturday, October 12, 2002 at Riverbend Healthcare Center. She was a homemaker and formerly worked for Wolf & Dessauer and the L. S. Ayres & Co. She was a member of First Wayne Street United Methodist Church for 46 years and the Fort Wayne Women’s Club for 46 years. She was a volunteer at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art for many years. She was the daughter of John W. Freeman and Grace L. (Barron). She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence David McKay who passed away in 1995.

She is survived by sons John S. McKay, Fort Wayne; David B. McKay, Ashville, North Carolina; James V. McKay, Jim Falls, Wisconsin; daughter Charlotte C. McKay, Portland, Oregon; 8 Grandchildren; and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Services were held Wednesday, October 16, 2002 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials to First Wayne Street United Methodist Church or Fort Wayne Women’s Club.
