RAYMOND M. ZELT, 66
Raymond M. Zelt, 66, died Wednesday, July 24, 2002 at Lutheran Hospital. A native of New Haven, Indiana, he was a carpenter with John Yoder Inc. for 20 years. He retired in 2000. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and American Legion Post 296. He was an Air Force veteran. He enjoyed gardening, carpentry, and jig saw puzzles. He was a loving husband, Dad, and Grandpa; he will be missed by all.
He is survived by his wife Delores M. Zelt, Fort Wayne; daughters Karen Patterson, Fort Wayne; Sandra Abouhalkah, Fort Wayne; son Bruce Zelt, Acworth, Georgia; sisters Vera Bleke, Fort Wayne; Edie Nevers, Fort Wayne; Doris Twigg, Ossian; Margie Heath, Indianapolis; brother Marvin Zelt, Fort Wayne; and 6 Grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, July 29, 2002 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Information furnished by Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals.
Heaven Riley Swick, 2 1/2 months old, of Fort Wayne, a Fort Wayne native, died Wednesday, July 24, at home. “Our tiny piece of heaven.”
Surviving are her father, James A. Swick of Fort Wayne; her mother, Michelle R. Osterman of Fort Wayne; a sister, Jessamyn Swick of Fort Wayne; grandparents David Osterman, Patricia Colvin, Robert Swick, and Cathie Huston, all of Fort Wayne; and step-grandparents Roberta Osterman and Bill Huston, both of Fort Wayne.
Services were held Monday, July 29, 2002 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Heartland Hospice. Information provided by Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road.
