ELLEN L. EICHHORN, 82

Ellen L. Eichhorn, 82, died Wednesday, July 24, 2002 at Lutheran Hospital. A native of Decatur, Indiana, she worked as a secretary for Eichhorn Insurance Center for 28 years and retired in 1982. She was the daughter of Lewis Mailand and Louise (Franz) Mailand. She was the 1974 State President of the Indiana Expansion Homemakers, a member of the Wells County Mental Health Organization, a member of the Wells Red Cross Chapter, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bluffton and an associate member of Englewood First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband Elco Eichhorn, North Webster, Indiana; daughter Diane Holloway, Ossian; son Dennis Eichhorn, Mesa, Arizona; brother Richard Mailand, Decatur; 3 Grandchildren, and 5 Grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be held August 14, 2002 at the First United Methodist Church of Bluffton, Indiana.
