MABEL (FOGWELL) CORVILLE, 96

Mabel (Fogwell) Corville, 96, died Saturday, June 21, 2002 at Kingston Care Center. A native of Lafayette Township, she was a secretary for Howard Beninghoff Law Offices for 40 years before retiring in 1989. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde M. Corville who passed away in 1977. She is the daughter of Albert Fogwell and Sarah (Gutermuth) Fogwell. She graduated in 1925 from Lafayette Center High School and was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church and Daughters of the Nile.

She is survived by brother W. Glenn Fogwell, Fort Wayne; special friends Mary Anne & David Beneke, Fort Wayne; Bryan Beneke, Mark Beneke, and Jimmy Beneke, Fort Wayne; 2 Grand nieces; and 1 grand nephew.

Services were held Wednesday, June 26, 2002 at Klaehn-Fahl & Melton Wayne Street Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Dr. C. James Cress officiated. Preferred memorials to Trinity English Lutheran Church and Shriners’ Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
