LLOYD M. DOEHRMANN, 76
Lloyd M. Doehrmann, 76, died Thursday at his daughter’s home in Avilla. Born in Fort Wayne, he retired in 1987 as owner and president of Wayne-Vaughn Equipment after 12 years and was a World War II Navy veteran. He had also been a former member of the Zollner Pistons basketball team and was in the Indiana Tech College Basketball Hall of Fame. He had formerly worked at WOFAC International Management Consulting Firm in Moorestown, New Jersey.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy J; three daughters, Elise McCoy of Avilla and Julia Campati and Janet Steager, both of Fort Wayne; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday at Gethsemane Lutheran Church with calling one hour before services. Burial was in Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorials to the church, Lutheran Ministries Media (Worship for Shut-Ins) or Parkview Home Health Care & Hospice.
