FREDRICK “ROCKY” ROCKSTROH, 79
Fredrick “Rocky” Rockstroh, 79, died Saturday, May 11, 2002 at Lutheran Hospital. A native of Coesse, Indiana, he was a programmer at International Harvester for 42 years and retired in 1984. He was Chairman of UAW #305 Bargaining Committee and a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. He was a WWII US Air Force veteran. He liked bridge. He wanted the best for his children. He is preceded in death by his wife Lenna Mae Rockstroh who passed away October 9, 1996.
He is survived by daughters Ann Marie Halsey, Memphis, Tennessee; Sally Jo Carsten, Fort Wayne; sons Stephen G. Rockstroh, Hilo, Hawaii; Gregory L. Rockstroh, Fort Wayne; Michael J. Rockstroh, West Lafayette, Indiana; Phillip G. Rockstroh, Alexandria, Virginia; brother Kenneth Rockstroh, Lebanon, Indiana; sisters Gilda Casey, Phoenix, Arizona; Myra Brown, Santa Rosa, California; Claudette Minnich, Berne, Indiana; 16 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren; and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, May 18, 2002 at St. Therese Catholic Church with burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to St. Therese Catholic Church or Donor’s Choice. Information furnished by Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals.
