Jeffry A. Herbst, 34, died Wednesday, March 6, 2002 at Lutheran Hospital. He was an electrician for Fairfield Electric. He is the son of Freddie A. Herbst and Janet M. (Barker) Herbst.
He is survived by wife Geneva R. (Schmidt) Herbst, Fort Wayne; son Jakkob A. Herbst, Fort Wayne; daughter Amanda Crismore, Fort Wayne; stepsons Daniel Crismore, Fort Wayne; Michael Crismore, Fort Wayne; father & mother Freddie A. & Janet M. (Barker) Herbst, Fort Wayne; father-in-law & mother-in-law Roy & Winifred Barker, Fort Wayne; brother Matthew J. Herbst, Fort Wayne; sister Michele Anger, Huntertown, Indiana; Grandmothers Helen W. Barker, Ossian, Indiana; Mabel S. Herbst, Fort Wayne; 4 uncles, 5 aunts, and several nieces & nephews.
Services were held Monday, March 11, 2002 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Pagan officiating. Burial was in Lindenwood Cemetery (Ashes). Memorials to the children of Jeffry Herbst.
