ETHEL C. WHEELER SHONER, 94

March 6, 2002 The Waynedale News Staff

Ethel C. Wheeler Shoner, 94, died Monday, February 25, at Parkview Hospital. Born in Illinois, she worked at General Electric for 15 years and then was a home maker. She is a member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by two husbands; Donald H. Shoner who passed away in 1981 and John W. Wheeler who passed away in 1948.

She is survived by step daughter Dolores Pearsall, Greenbush, Michigan; sister Lois Schmidt, Mt. View, California, and 13 nieces and nephews.

Services were held Friday, March 1, 2002 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials to Fort Wayne Rescue Mission.
