DOROTHY IRENE SHORTRIDGE, 90

March 20, 2002 The Waynedale News Staff

Dorothy Irene Shortridge, 90, died Friday, March 1, 2002 at St. Joseph Medical Center. A native of Waterloo, Indiana, she was a homemaker and a member of Village Green Free Methodist Church. She was a sewing hobbyist. She is preceded in death by husband Roy E. Shortridge who passed away in 1978.

She is survived by son Clayton C. “Bud” Shortridge, Fort Wayne; daughter Kandice “Kandy” Miller, Fort Wayne; sister Eldora Lower, Fort Wayne; 5 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.

Services were held Tuesday, March 5, 2002 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Village Green Free Methodist Church, 4410 Wayne Trace, Fort Wayne, IN.
