BEGINNING BEEKEEPING COURSE

“Beginning Beekeeping” will be presented by the Northeastern Indiana Beekeeper’s Association on Thursday, March 21st. This will be held at the NIPSCO Building, 300 East Main Street, Fort Wayne, starting at 7:30pm. Topics covered will be: getting started with honeybees, needed equipment and tools, protective wear, terminology, explanation of the beehive, and resource materials. Experienced beekeepers will be available to answer questions and offer advice. Everyone is welcome to learn about this fascinating hobby. There is no charge. The Northeastern Indiana Beekeeper’s Association serves the beekeepers in the northeastern counties of Indiana with information concerning the honeybee and the beekeeping industry. The association holds seven meetings per year.
