DORIS E. SPRINGER, 65
Doris E. Springer, 65, died Tuesday, January 1 at Ossian Health Care in Ossian, Indiana. A native of Maples, Indiana, she was employed at Lincoln Life for 20 years. She retired in 1991. She also worked for Dr. Gregory Stouder as a receptionist and technician. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading and embroidering. She is preceded in death by brothers Robert Baehrs and Herald Beahrs, and a sister Imogene Beahrs.
She is survived by husband Edmund L. Springer, Fort Wayne; daughter Tami Sundermann, Napolian, Ohio; son Daniel S. Springer, Fort Wayne; sisters Mary J. Nussbaum, Fort Wayne; Helen Kay Phelps, Springfield, Ohio; and 5 Grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, January 5 at Bethany Lutheran Church with burial in St. Marks Lutheran Church. Memorials to Bethany Lutheran Church Endowment Fund or Donor’s Choice. Information furnished by Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals.
