Robert George Ruch, 81, died Sunday, December 9 at Lutheran Hospital. A native of Fort Wayne, he was a welder at American Hoist Company. He retired in 1984 after 34 years. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, American Legion Post #241, Southwest Conservation Club and the F.O.E. in Butler, Indiana. He was a WWII Army Veteran. He is preceded in death by his wife Wanda Lucilie Ruch who passed away October 20, 2000.

He is survived by sons Keith R. Ruch, Tri-Lakes, Columbia City; Robert D. Ruch, Fort Wayne; brother Paul Ruch, Fort Wayne; sisters Catherine Shreeve, Angola; Etta Becraft, Fort Wayne; 2 Grandchildren; and 3 Great Grandchildren.

Services were held Wednesday, December 12 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church or Southwest Conservation Club.
