USF HOSTS FALL VISIT DAY
USF will host a Visit Day for all interested students and their families on Saturday, November 3, 2001. Guests and their families are invited to tour the campus; view new art and health science buildings; attend a football game; and meet with faculty, coaches, and personnel from admissions, financial aid, and Weekend College. TAYLOR UNIVERSTIY FORT WAYNE CAMPUS
TUFWC OFFERS COLLEGE SATURDAY
The Samuel Morris Scholars Program at TUFWC will sponsor College Saturday, November 17 in Eicher Student Commons, main dining area from 8:45am to 1pm. There is no cost for the workshop; enrollment is limited. The purpose is to give middle school students and their parents suggestions to enhance their success with academic and social issues while preparing for college. College Saturday for high school students will be offered at a later date. College Saturday also provides an opportunity for a question and answer session and conversations with current college students and door prizes. TUFWC ANNOUNCES CAMPUS VISITATION DAY
TUFWC will conduct its third autumn Campus Visitation Day on Friday, December 7. Visitation Day gives students and their parents a chance to experience the Taylor Tradition first-hand and to meet TUFWC’s faculty, meet with Admissions & Financial Aid representatives, attend classes, chapel, explore the campus, and discover opportunities available through scholarship, students ministries, student leadership, and athletics. BLHS “TURKEY TROT KNIGHT”
BLHS’ annual Turkey Trot Knight will be held Sunday, November 18 at 6:30pm at Columbia Street West. Tickets are $20 per person , which includes hors d’oeuvres, snacks, draft beer, soft drinks, and dancing to The Junk Yard Band. Tickets can be purchased by calling Bishop Luers – 456-1261 or Fry Schindler – 447-6732. Casual attire and Open to the public. All proceeds will benefit Luers Knight and Bishop Luers Athletics.
BLHS ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP EXAM
BLHS announces its Annual Scholarship Exam on Saturday, November 10 from 8:30am to noon. No advance registration is required. The test will be given in the school cafeteria with registration beginning at 8:15am. Students are asked to bring $6 to take the test and two #2 pencils. All 8th grade students are welcome to attend. A make-up date on December 1 has also been set. Please call the school Development Office at 456-1261 for more information.
