F.O.P. #14 will allow each child from these unfortunate families to shop for warm winter clothing at the two Fort Wayne WAL-MART stores this December. The children are accompanied on their shopping spree by active duty and retired Police Officers from Fort Wayne, New Haven, and Allen County. Officer Geller said, “The idea behind the program is not only to help these deserving families, but to meet and get to know the Police Officers of our community. We want the kids to know that we are not just a bunch of meanies who write traffic tickets and arrest people. We are in need of donations. Please send in your most generous donation to Wayne Lodge #14, Fraternal Order of Police, 111 Three Rivers East, Fort Wayne, IN 46802 or call 424-6600 for more information,”
