GEORGE H. “BUD” ROOS, 69

George H. “Bud” Roos, 69, died Wednesday, October 17 at Lutheran Hospital. He was a salesman for Wayne Furniture and retired in 1997. He was a member of American Legion Post #241.

He is survived by Companion Katherine Bair, Fort Wayne; Sons Eric Roos, Lakeland, California; Doug Roos, Las Vegas, Nevada; Daughters Karen Oberkiser, Fort Wayne; Denise Phillips, Billings, Montana; Deborah Murchland, Fort Wayne; Brenda Bianski, Ege, Indiana; Deleen Harris, Fort Wayne; Rita Murchland, Fort Wayne; Jan Whitaker, Silver Lake, Indiana; sisters Georgean Beineke, Fort Wayne; Carol Cummings, Fort Wayne; Marleen Zaremba, Ossian; Valeria Matson, Fort Wayne; Sandy Thomkinson, Fort Wayne; 22 Grandchildren; and 3 Great Grandchildren.

Services were held Friday, October 19 at Elzey, Patterson, Rodak Home for Funerals. Burial was in Lindenwood Cemetery with Military Rites from Post #241. Memorials to Allen County Cancer Society.
