MILDRED E. BLAIR, 96
Mildred E. Bair, 96, died Monday, October 15 at Providence Memorial Hospital in El Paso, Texas. A native of Wells County she was a supervisor at General Electric. She was a member of Anchor Community Church, a member of the administrative board and Past President of Women’s Missionary. She loved gardening and knitting afghans. She is preceded in death by husbands Howard C. Coverdale who passed away in 1932 and George I. Bair, who passed away in 1973. She was also preceded in death by sons Donald E. Coverdale and Carl W. Coverdale and by a sister Marguerite Odier.
She is survived by son George E. Bair, El Paso, Texas; step daughter Gladys Mitchell, Lancaster, Texas; sister Wanda Hughes, Rockford, Ohio; 10 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; 1 step Great Grandchild; and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, October 20 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals with burial in Nine Mile Cemetery. Memorials to WBCL Christian Radio Station or Anchor Community Church.
