SMOKE ON THE WIND
Native Americans gathered in the town square and will do so again this month. ‑This is a good tribe of many braves, warriors of both present and past. ‑We gather so as not to ever forget the sacrifices of the men and women, our families, friends and loved ones, made so that we can enjoy our Native American gatherings in the Circle of Peace. ‑I’m a proud member of this tribe, and I call you my brother and my sister. ‑And I tell you this, my brothers and sisters – we are having a pow wow (“A coming together of friends and family”). ‑You will see many symbols of our tribe, yours and mine. ‑Come and let us dance in the Sacred Circle of Freedom and Gratitude Prayer, as we pay tribute to our tribe and our flag of this great nation of Native Americans – our veterans.
God Bless America, the Home of the Brave and Land of the Free. ‑We salute you!
