JULIA’S PET CORNER
Weimaraners, I truly do love these dogs. They are so entertaining. I received a cell phone call from two incredibly loving weimaraner owners today. It seems they were on a road trip to Indianapolis today with their dogs, Garbo, Brinkley, Ethel, and Lucy. Four weimaraners in a van would be too much for most people but these two women are the epitome of dog owners. I met Brinkley’s mom last fall when she was having some disciplinary problems with him. After a few sessions, Brinkley and his mom were doing much better. His mom introduced me to Brinkley’s biological sisters and mother. Their mom (owner) devotes her life to enjoying her girls. These four dogs are the most loved dogs I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. As I was saying, the four dogs and their two moms were coming home from their trip to Indianapolis when they stopped at a rest stop for the dogs to run. Unfortunately, running was not all they did. They found a manure pile that was just too enticing to pass up and all of them decided to roll around in it. Now most of us would be very unhappy at these four smelly brats, but no. I received a call from two hysterically laughing women. They just knew I would love this excerpt in the life of these weimaraners and they wanted to make an appointment to have them bathed in the morning. I’m going to meet them when they get into Fort Wayne and give these scallywags their baths tonight! These two loving owners have suffered enough.
