VERLA MAY BRADBURY, 94, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, February 9, 2004. Born January 20, 1910, in Steuben County, she was a homemaker and member of Nine Mile United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting. “She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. We will all miss her smiling face and loving ways.”
Surviving are her son Richard D. Bradbury of Yoder; daughter Peggy Joan Sadler of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Garold Bradbury; son, Lloyd E. Bradbury; three brothers; and two sisters.
Service was 11 a.m. Friday at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial was at Nine Mile Cemetery.
