CARL JAMES “JIM” COX, 84
CARL JAMES “JIM” COX, 84, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, April 22, 2004, at Canterbury Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born July 16, 1919, in Allen County, he was a salesman for Hunt Wesson Foods, Inc., retiring in 1984. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a lifetime member of the Sol D. Bayless Masonic Lodge 359. He was an avid golfer and he enjoyed yard work.
Surviving are his son, Brad James Cox of Fort Wayne; daughter, Pamela Sue Smith of Fort Wayne; sister, Betty Graney of Fort Wayne; brothers, William Cox and Robert Cox, both of Fort Wayne; 6 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty M., November 25, 2001. Service was Monday, April 26th at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
