LETTER TO THE EDITOR
On July 4, an unpatriotic act occurred. The American flag at the Prairie Grove Cemetery on Old Trail Road was stolen from the flagpole. American Legion Post 241 has already replaced it. I would like to commend the thief’s for leaving the POW-MIA flag on the pole. It is outrageous that someone would do this on this special day.
American Legion Post 241 in Waynedale would like any information regarding this serious act. If you know of anyone that has information of who is responsible, please contact the American Legion, Charles Rathsack, Commander, at 747-7851.
