CARMEN A. GARCIA, 59
CARMEN A. GARCIA, 59, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, July 5, 2004, at Brownsville Medical Center, Brownsville, Texas. Born in Guanajuato, Mexico, September 24, 1944, she was employed at Saint Anne Home and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Survivors include her children, Manuela Riojas, Sergio Garcia, Maria Gutierrez, Juan “Cisco” Monsivais, Veronica Delcio, Jesus Monsivais and Liliana “Lily” Garcia, all of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Miguel, Juan., Erica, Alex, Cruz, Angelica, Gabi, Gehovany, Julisa, Jazmin, Marco and Anahi; mother, Juana Gaspar of Monterrey, N.L., Mexico; brothers, Roberto Gaspar, Jesus Acosta, Francisco Acosta, Juventino Acosta, Onorio Acosta and Aucencio Acosta, all of Monterrey; and sister, Maria Acosta of Monterrey.
She was preceded in death by her son, Juan Manuel Luis Garcia in 1987.
Prayers were Saturday, July 9, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2120 S. Harrison St. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
The preferred memorials are Relay for Life or St. Patrick Catholic Church.
