MUDDY RIVER RUN PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Those guys in the Lions Club certainly perform a great deal of service to the community. They even help the Boy Scouts out a lot and for that we thank them greatly.
We also get other chances to assist the Lions‑Club. This time they served about 1,000 meals of “all you can eat” pancakes and sausage for breakfast at the “Silver Anniversary” Muddy River Run. All of the proceeds went to the “Turnstone” charity for disabled children. It was a great effort by a bunch of good people to benefit a terrific cause. What a tremendous effort, Lions.
Also able and glad to help such a charity and to even get a good look at the variety of nice cars were Scouts Joe Wilder, Joe Baumgarter, Zach Firestone, Michael Grindle, Kyle Rainwaters (pictured above), and Chris Olry. Also adults Scoutmaster Bob Rainwaters, Tom Wilder, Chris Seplak, Nancy Seplak, Rich Olry, and Gary McOmber.
