KATHLEEN L. CARVIN, 91
KATHLEEN L. CARVIN, 91, died Sunday, December 12, 2004. The Petroleum native, was a longtime member of First Wayne Street United Methodist Church, Star Circle of the International Order of the King’s Daughters and Sons, United Methodist Women, volunteered at Wednesday Night Live and was Kitchen Coordinator for many years. Mrs. Carvin retired from Korte Paper in 1983.
Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Riddle of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Reece A. (Linda) Riddle, Shane C. Riddle, Chad C. (April) Riddle, Trent A. (Arlene) Riddle and E’ann Jai Carvin, all of Fort Wayne; great-grandchildren, Toree, Christian and Vienna; and her sister, Doris E. Wiendt of North Manchester.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alden D. Carvin; daughter, Cynthia Carvin; brothers, Jack and Gerald Line.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday at First Wayne Street United Methodist Church, 300 E. Wayne St., with calling one hour prior to service. Calling is also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne Street. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
The preferred memorial is the church.
