HAROLD H. PEEK, 90
HAROLD H. PEEK, 90, of Berne, died Sunday, March 26, 2006, at Adams County Hospital, Decatur. Born July 17, 1915, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late William Peek and Wilhamine (Kramer). He worked at Dana Corporation for 30 years, retiring in 1976. He served in the Army. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Lutheran Laymens League, 7903 United Paper Workers Dana; World War II veteran; charter member of the Dana Quarter Century Club; and a member of American Legion Post 296.
Surviving are daughter, Carol A. (Paul) Gerding of Fort Wayne; son, David A. Peek of Fort Wayne; stepdaughter, Kate (Bill) Stanford of Lima, Ohio; seven grandchildren; three step grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five step grandchildren.
Funeral service was Thursday, March 30, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Pastor John Hamer officiating. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
