REV. WILLIAM LYNN HENRY, 80
REV. WILLIAM LYNN HENRY, 80, of Franklin, formerly of Fort Wayne, Columbia City, South Bend, Anderson and Lowell, died Saturday, April 29, 2006, at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Franklin. Born September 10, 1925, in Fort Wayne, he was a member of First United Methodist Church, Anderson and North Indiana Conference of the Evangelical United Brethren and United Methodist churches. He served as Pastor in many places including Steuben County, Columbia City, South Bend, Fort Wayne, Anderson and Lowell.
Surviving are sons, David (Susan) Henry of Angola and Michael (Lorrie) Henry of Charlotte, N.C.; sister, Anna Belle Knapp of Fort Wayne; and four grandchildren, Brenna (William) Sands of Tampa, Florida, Nephi Jay and Jared Henry, both of Provo, Utah, and Jordan Henry of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Melba Bernice Roberson Henry, in 2004; son, Stan Henry; and parents, Samuel Earl and Camilla G. Mahnensmith Henry.
Service was Saturday at Nine Mile United Methodist Church, 6303 Winters Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation two hours prior to service. The Rev. Diana Siegel officiating. Burial in Nine Mile Maple Lawn Cemetery.
