VIOLET F. LOEW, 79

VIOLET F. LOEW, 79, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Regency Place, Fort Wayne. She was born February 21, 1927 in Swan, Indiana.

She was a homemaker and a nurses aid at Lutheran Homes for 20 years. She graduated from Eel River, Perry Township High School in 1945, she served on the St. Therese Altar Society and was a former chairperson for the Funeral Dinner Committee, an Associate member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society, and a member of St. Therese Catholic Church.

Surviving are her husband, Carl Loew of Fort Wayne; daughters, Rose (Roger) Yeager of Rochester N.Y., and Joanne Loew of Tucson, Arizona; sons, Bob (Tammy) Loew of Lafayette, and Jim (Sally) Loew of Fishers; sister, Donna Cartwright of LaOtto; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by son, Edward John Loew; and seven brothers and sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial was Saturday at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819. Calling was Friday at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
