EUGENE F. WYSS, 76
EUGENE F. WYSS, 76, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, July 2, 2006 at his residence. He was born January 20, 1930 in Fort Wayne. He was a life long farmer and had worked at Royal Lace Paper Company for 16 years. He was a former member of the Holy Name Society. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Korean conflict. He was member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and enjoyed collecting International Harvester antique tractors.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Wyss of Fort Wayne; sons, Stanley J. (Theresa) Wyss of Fort Wayne, Robert A. (Judy) Wyss of Ossian; daughters, Janet L. (Chris) Tyner, Karen M. (Gary) Freiburger, both of Fort Wayne, Kathy L. (Joe) Dluzak of Roanoke, Sandra K. (Kevin) Frasure of Fort Wayne, and Pamela S. (Randy) Walker of Roanoke; brother, Richard Wyss of Fort Wayne; sisters, Marjorie Borne, Eileen Kryder and Shirley Loshe, all of Fort Wayne; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy A, Heckber; brothers, Donald, Jermone and Elmer Wyss.
Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, July 9, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 14623 Bluffton Road, with prayers recited at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne. Calling was Thursday, July 8, at the funeral home with Rosary at the funeral home. Burial in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery.
