VILLAGE BOWL SUPPORTS SPECIAL OLYMPICS
On September 15, Special Olympics-Allen County will launch a new youth division bowling program for children ages 8-18 with intellectual disabilities. The bowling program will run on weekends until Thanksgiving.
The mission of the Special Olympics is to provide sports training and athletic competition for youth with disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
Jeff Dreyfus of Village Bowl is happy to become involved in this special program. Volunteer interest forms and athlete interest forms for prospective participants are available at www.specialolympicsallencounty.com or calling Janet Stahl at 432-6346.
