RALPH EDWARD “BUCK” TRAVIS, 86
RALPH EDWARD “BUCK” TRAVIS, 86, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, September 27, 2007, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born October 7, 1920, in Fort Wayne, he retired from Pennsylvania Railroad as a freight conductor, in 1981. He was a member of Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Mizpah Shrine and American Legion 82. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Hazel Travis of Fort Wayne; daughter, Judith A. (John) Richardson of Springhill, Florida; sons, Larry Lee (Dorothea) Travis and Steven Lynn (Dru) Travis, both of High Springs, Florida; brother, Martin W. Travis of Arkansas; favorite nieces, Mary S. (Alex Choinski) Travis and Cindy L. (Don) Kabisch, both of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife, Mildred Travis.
Private service and visitation. Burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ossian.
