MARY GORMAN DEXTER, 58

MARY GORMAN DEXTER, 58, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, December 7, 2007, at her residence. Born on August 17, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois, she was a lifelong Eastern Star member and member of Nursing Association for Illinois and Texas.

She enjoyed sewing, quilting and scrapbooking.

She is survived by her spouse, Christina M. Dexter of Fort Wayne; children, Christy Dexter of Flint, Michigan and Renae Dexter of Fort Wayne; brother, Stephen E. Gorman of Chicago, Illinois; niece, Sarah Jane (Kevin) Clark of Jacksonville, Florida; nephew, Stuart P. (Allison) Dawley of Indiatlantic, Florida; god-children, Brandi Wheat and Brad Stone, both of Michigan; and great-nieces and nephews, Kyle and Margaret Clark and Ian and Joseph Dawley.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred E. Gorman; mother, Jeannette L. Roberts; and sister, Margaret G. Dawley.

No service or visitation. Arrangements by Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, Fort Wayne.
