PATRICIA CAROLYN DENNEY, 77
PATRICIA CAROLYN DENNEY, 77, of Fort Wayne, passed away, Friday, September 22, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital.
She was born in November 12, 1939 in Bristol, Virginia to the late Clarence and Geneva (Sansome) East. She had worked many different jobs throughout her life, but mainly worked as a homemaker, caring for her family. She was a member of Uniontown Church of Christ, Daughters of the Confederacy, Daughters of the Revolution, and the Tole Society.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Walter C. Denney; children, Carolyn M. Blackburn of Phoenix, Arizona, Michael Denney and Mary C. (John) Owen, both of Fort Wayne; sister, Linda M. Hanson of Fort Wayne; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral service was Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 11 AM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809 with one hour of visitation prior. Visitation was also on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Burial in Glenwood Cemetery, Bristol, Tennessee.
