RUTH SCHNEIDER LEBO STEPHANS, 95
RUTH SCHNEIDER LEBO STEPHANS, 95, of Honeybrook, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, February 12, 2008, at Hickory House in Honeybrook, where she was a hospice patient. She and her husband had been residents at Heatherwood Retirement Community since 1995.
Ruth was a graduate of Lower Marion High School and Temple University where she majored in preschool education. She maintained a nursery school in their home in Secane, PA for years. She and her husband collected antiques and had a clock shop, which Mr. Stephens operated. They were members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Secane, PA.
Surviving is her son James Augustus Stephens of Fort Wayne, and daughter-in-law Betty Stephens of Geigertown, PA., one grandson, Thomas Stephens of Carmel, IN, and one granddaughter, Debbie Bowman of Coatvill, PA, and five great grandchildren, in Morgantown, PA, and Carmel, IN.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 70 years of marriage, James A. Stephens, 99, her son Frank Stephens, 59, and one granddaughter Holly Stephens, 9.
Memorial services are pending and will be private for family members only.
Preferred memorials are to the donor’s choice or to the American Cancer Society.
