WOMENS HISTORY MONTH
Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) will celebrate Women’s History Month in March with a variety of events both on and off campus. On-campus events for “Women’s History, Women’s Visions” are sponsored by the IPFW Center for Women and Returning Adults, IPFW Department of History, IPFW Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs, and IPFW Women’s Studies. All events are free and open to the public.
Wed., March 24 – “YWCA Diversity Dialog: Faith Based Diversity,” 1:30-3 p.m., YWCA, 1610 Spy Run Blvd.
Fri., March 21 – “Single Mothers and Community Resources Brownbag Lunch,” presented by Robin Newman, director of the IPFW Center for Women and Returning Adults, and Breanna Jackson, IPFW alumna; noon-1 p.m., IPFW Walb Student Union, room G-08
Mon., March 24 – “Women and Disabilities Panel Discussion,” noon-1 p.m., IPFW Walb Student Union Ballroom
Tues., March 25 – “Women at the Movies: Vietnam Nurses with Dana Delaney,” comments by Emmy Award-winning consultant and Dean of the IPFW College of Health and Human

Thurs., March 27 and Fri., March 28 – 20th Annual Indiana University Undergraduate Gender Conference, IU South Bend
Fri., March 28 – “Women and Money: What Every Woman Should Know Brown Bag Lunch,” presented by Vicki Bandor Braun, Smith Barney financial advisor; noon-1 p.m., IPFW Walb Student Union, Room G-08
