CHARLES K. “CHUCK” MINER, SR., 88
CHARLES K. “CHUCK” MINER, SR., 88, of Fort Wayne passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016. He was born on October 29, 1927 in Jonesville, Virginia, a son of the late Charles W. and Hattie (Bledsoe) Miner. He retired from J.F. Miller Heating & Air.
He enjoyed spending his time fishing, baking, and gardening.
Surviving family include his children, Merri Hettinger, Kathy Morimanno, Maggie Jones, Bert Ponder, Ann Schible, Terry Goldey, Charlie K. Miner, Jr., Patty Miner; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister, Betty Kreigh.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his wife, Phyllis Miner; and children, David Miner, Gerry Myers, Larry “Fuzz” Myers, and Jerry Burget.
Funeral service was 11:00 am on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation was from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Friday, September 16, 2016 at the funeral home.
