DONALD CHARLES FAVORY, 86
DONALD CHARLES FAVORY, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016. He was born October 29, 1929 in Fort Wayne to the late Charles and Leota (Barker) Favory. He was a 1947 Elmhurst High School graduate and served in the Army during the Korean War. He was Owner and Operator of Favory Auto Repair, starting in the business in 1950. He was a member of American Legion Post #241.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Maryellen Favory of Fort Wayne; son, Tim (Suzanne) Favory of Yoder; granddaughters, Erin (Don) Whittle of Fort Wayne and Danielle (Patrick) Dippel of Longmeadow, Massachusetts; step grandsons, Jeremy (Nikki) Penrod of Zanesville and Kyle Penrod of Ossian; great grandchildren, Addison Whittle, Jensen Whittle, Camryn Dippel, Nolan Dippel, Lillian Penrod, Amelia Penrod, and Declan Penrod; and many special nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Donna Belle Biddle.
Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, March 18, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804. Visitation was on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN. Entombment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
