ANITA LOYD, 85

ANITA LOYD, 85, of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at Hospice Home. She was born January 13, 1930, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Steven and Lucille (Dziurdziewski) Klemens. She retired from Lincoln National Bank in 1992 after 15 years. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and American Legion Auxiliary #241. She loved her faith and showed it through the many activities that she enjoyed: working outdoors, cooking, arts and painting, dancing, and music.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gerald L. Loyd of Fort Wayne; sons, William H. (Yuko) Loyd of Converse, Texas, Brian T. Loyd and Donald S. Loyd, both of Fort Wayne, David P. (Jennifer) Loyd of Broomfield, Colorado; daughters,  Nancy M. Loyd of Cleveland, Ohio, Louise A. Kline of Fort Wayne and Barbara J. Clemens of Lyndhurst, Ohio; grandchildren, Carlton, Julie, Nicholas and Lucy; sisters, Bernadine (Al) Zoril and Carol Dirkx; and sister-in-law, Shirley Klemens.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Robert L. Loyd; sisters, Marcy (Jim) Souhrada and Nancy (Lowell) Lindon; brother, Tom Klemens; and son-in-laws, Ron Kline and Bruce Jones.

Mass of Christian Burial was 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, (IN 46819) with visitation one-hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, with a Rosary Vigil at 8 p.m. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.

Preferred memorials may be made to Masses or Society of St. Vincent de Paul – Fort Wayne.
