7TH GRADERS BUILD A CANNED GOOD DISPLAY AT CANSTRUCTION EVENT
A group of 7th graders at St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School participated in the CANstruction event at Glenbrook Square. On March 14, the 7th graders designed and built their entry made entirely out of canned goods, a re-creation of the Great Barrier Reef. These canned goods will be donated to the Community Harvest Food Bank in Fort Wayne.
The 7th graders were directed by junior high teachers Mrs. Brough, Mrs. Jump, Mrs. Dykhuizen, Mrs. Voigt and Mr. Smith.
Visitors were able to vote for the People’s Choice Award until March 23, and were also able to donate additional canned goods to the St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School container near the CANstruction display.
