MILDRED M. BRADOW, 90
MILDRED M. BRADOW, 90, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at Lutheran Hospital. Born August 27, 1919, in Platteville, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late David W. and Jessie (Boldt) Weigel. She retired in 1978 as an Elementary School Teacher at South Calhoun Elementary School. She was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. She was a member of Waynedale United Methodist Church. She volunteered at church, loved to play cards with family and friends; and enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow into adulthood and begin their own families.
Surviving are her children, Richard A. (Carol) Bradow of Louisville, Kentucky and James R. (Sherry) Bradow of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Jeff (Allyson) Bradow, David (Kristen) Bradow, Kristen (Tim) Linley, Susan (Tyler) Holsapple, and Mike (Katie) Bradow; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Abigail Bradow; and siblings, Gilbert Weigel of Hartland, Wisconsin and Eileen Behling of Lake Mills, Wisconsin.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Bradow in January of 2001; and siblings, Frank, Glenn, Ada, Esther, and Ruth.
Service was 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Waynedale United Methodist Church, with calling 1/2 hour prior to service. Calling also from 4 to 6 p.m. at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
