NEIGHBORLINK SMALL THINGS: HYDRANTS PROJECT
NeighborLink partners with the city of Fort Wayne in beautifying 146 fire hydrants throughout the community on June 22nd.
The project consists of seven different routes across the city with hydrants requiring a fresh paint job. Every route contains 9 to 48 hydrants, each needing to be wire brushed then painted yellow.
NeighborLink is in need of volunteers to make the event a success. An often-overlooked task, painting the hydrants on a Saturday afternoon creates a great opportunity to make a visual impact within our neighborhoods.
The small things can go a long way in building a beautiful, unified community.
If you are at all interested in either leading a route or simply volunteering please visit, neighborlinkfortwayne.org.
