OPAL M. SYNDRAM OF FORT WAYNE, AGE 91
OPAL M. SYNDRAM of Fort Wayne, age 91, died July 25, at Hospice Home. Born February 26, 1917, in Pleasant Mills, Indiana, Mrs. Syndram was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Decatur, IN.
Survivors include her eight children: Beverly (Edward) Bowsman and Bonnie (Phil) Harris, both from Fort Wayne, Judy (Thomas) McBride from Roanoke, Connie (Walter) Watters from Decatur, Robert (Theresa) from Temple, Texas, William (Patty) from Newark, Ohio, Cathy (Ronald) Kantorak from West Lake, OH and Thomas (Joan) from Wolcotteville, IN. Mrs. Syndram was the proud grandmother of 23 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Francis Syndram in 1990, a great grandson, Jonathan Blair and two brothers, Carey & Roy King.
Calling hours were Wednesday, July 30, 2008 from 2-8 P.M. at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809. Funeral services were held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. with calling 1 hour prior to services. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN.
