JAMES E. FOREMAN, 91
JAMES E. FOREMAN, 91, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2013 with his loving family by his side. Born in Decatur, Indiana on January 26, 1922, he was the son of the late Charles and Bertha Foreman. James was a WWII veteran, a retiree from Howard Sobers Transport, a devoted member of the 1st Baptist Church of New Haven, and an all-around great father, husband, and friend.
Surviving are daughter, Gloria Trice; sons, Samuel (Debbie) Foreman, Michael (Joni) Foreman, and Gary (Beth) Foreman; a loving daughter Diana Andrews; half-sister, Shirley Smith; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; and a very caring friend, Mercy Bell.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Phyllis; brother, Robert Foreman; sister, Hazel Foreman Meyers; daughter, Carolyn Lemons; granddaughter, Angel Silvers; and his beloved dog, Maggie.
A funeral was held on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 12:00 P.M. at 1st Baptist Church of New Haven, 1716 Werling Road, New Haven, Indiana 46774 with visitation 2 hours prior to services. Burial at Highland Park Cemetery.
